Celeste was everything we could hope for in our Realtor. She provided the perfect amount of feedback during tours, helped us when we got stuck during our search, stayed out of the way when needed to, and adapted our strategy when we provided feedback. After initially meeting to get through the basics, we were set up with an MLS feed. Unlike other Realtors, her MLS feed was well-organized by city, which allowed me to get email notifications without getting overwhelmed. This seems like a simple thing but watching other friends go through the same thing, this matters. Searching for weeks can lead to a lot of emails and notifications to monitor. When we found houses to look at, she quickly set up tours at times that were convenient for us. During tours, she actively pointed out issues with houses, perks in houses, and ways to fix potential issues in houses correctly and cheaply. When the first house we put a bid on began to have negotiation issues after there were serious issues during the inspection, she provided her opinion and then stepped back for us to make the decision. She always informed without being pushy. A fine line that most cannot walk. When we saw the house we were going to buy, she encouraged us to negotiate hard with the sellers as she saw room for negotiation on the price. We initially believed it was still too high for us. By the time contracts were set, we had met in the middle, at a price both the sellers and we were happy with. Throughout the process, she was always there for us when we had additional questions and was there to help prod people along to keep it moving. this being our first house, she was everything I could hope for in a Realtor. Most importantly, we trusted her and her opinion. We went with a lawyer she suggested (Tracey Lundgren). In the end, a month later, the house is more than we could dream of.
